We stayed in the upper unit which was quite large but very comfortable. The AC worked in the bedroom which was nice. Max and Jeanette were very helpful and made sure we knew where everything was. Great neighborhood, close to everything. Loved the open spaces and sitting on the porch.
Great location. Close to Playa Sucia and Playa Buye, two beautiful beaches. We spent all day around Cabo Rojo. The neighborhood is fairly quiet although the occasional dogs barking and neighbors starting yard work at 730 in the morning. Cement home carries all the noise, so be warned, but the price is too good to pass up. Very kind hosts, willing tohelp however they can.
This living unit is well-managed, an excellent value and contains all of the amenities you'll need to enjoy yourself in SW Puerto Rico. I stayed with my wife and infant daughter and found the layout of the place conducive to helping my family relax. I found the rental price for our family to be a great value. There is space for many people and if a small group of 6-8 rented this the rate is amazingly cheap. The kitchen is well-stocked. The AC units in the bedrooms are effective. The bathrooms are clean. The only minor issue was the drier did not consistently work for us (it dried clothes one time but not the next). I'd like to close by stating that the management of the rental, via Max and Jeanette, stands out far above the other AirBnB relationships we've had. Max is clear, prompt and informative in communication. Jeanette's introduction and orientation to the unit was beneficial, too. I would highly recommend this property to others.
Wonderful house with spacious living room area. Many beds, but most of them not so comfortable. We were three friends staying there, and we at least found three beds that felt okay, so it worked for us. Also read the description carefully, we didn't. Bring toilet paper, salt, spices etc that you may need. There is nothing in the house. Also have $100 ready for cleaning and deposit fee Max was a great host. Very communicative and helpful. He came with tips for beaches and ideas for day trips. I would definitely recommend this house!
The house was spacious and nice. The housekeeper and her husband were VERY helpful. They and Max did everything to make us have a good stay. Would recommend that housing.
This is a steal! My girlfriend and I stayed in Max's apartment for a week and loved every minute of it. The place is cute and clean and very close to some really pretty beaches. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again. Thanks Max!
Jeanette (Max's caretaker for the place) was a great host. She gave us a detailed orientation of the house, answered all of our questions, and was super friendly. The place is exactly as described; it's very spacious, with nice amenities such as a table for card games and dominoes, and the a/c units keep us cool at night. The location is very convenient, with easy access to Boquerón and nearby beaches, the historic lighthouse and nature preserves, and the city of Mayagüez. We had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer! We'll be back again. Thanks, Max and Jeanette!
